English Business Management Major (Business Administration)
Department (Major) Overview and Key Features
The Business Management major is a three-year, six-semester academic program designed to cultivate professionals who can
demonstrate immediate competitiveness in the global business environment. All major courses are conducted 100% in English through
AI-based instruction. Cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, which are essential tools in modern business, are fully
integrated into the curriculum to provide future-oriented education. The program adopts a practice-oriented teaching model, consisting
of 30% theoretical instruction and 70% AI-based practical training, by incorporating the latest AI tools across all courses.
∙ Enhancement of Global Communication Competency :
Through a structured IELTS curriculum, the program simultaneously develops practical
English proficiency while targeting an IELTS score of 7.0 or higher. A step-by-step intensive training system—foundation, intermediate, and
advanced levels—strengthens students’ competitiveness for employment at global companies and admission to overseas graduate schools.
∙ Support for Settlement and Social Integration in Korea :
The Social Integration Program (KIIP)is incorporated into the regular curriculum with
36 academic credits, enabling international students to achieve Korean language proficiency (TOPIK Level 4 or above)and gain an in-depth
understanding of Korean laws and social systems. This provides a solid foundation for post-graduation employment and visa acquisition in
Korea.
∙ International Student-Friendly Learning Environment :
More than 70% visual learning materialsare utilized, with instruction centered on familiar
case studies such as K-Pop, K-Beauty, and K-Dramas. Learning effectiveness is maximized through business simulation games, gamification
elements, and active use of AI-based translation tools.
∙ Practice-Oriented Project-Based Learning : The assessment system consists of 30% traditional examinations and 60% project evaluations, allowing
students to engage in real-world corporate problem-solving projects, gain experience in multinational team collaboration, and build portfolio-based
pathways to employment.
∙3:3:3 Balanced Education Structure : The program offers a well-balanced 110-credit curriculum, comprising 36 credits in Korean language and
social integration (32.7%), 36 credits in IELTS education (32.7%), and 38 credits in Business Management major courses (34.5%). This structure
cultivates professionals with triple competencies in Korean, English, and AI.
